Tsuge Lao Factory Grand Opening Ceremony on 23rd August 2022
On 23rd August 2022, Tsuge Lao Co., Ltd. has arranged a ceremony for opening its factory for producing the tobacco and smoking goods in Pakse-Japan SME SEZ (PJSEZ), which were participated by Mr. Som Bouttakoun, vice Governor of Champasak Province, H.E. Kobayashi Kenichi, Japan Ambassador in the Lao PDR, Mr. Tsuge Chairman of the parent company Tsuge Pipe Co., Ltd., Mr. Mitsui, President of Tsuge Lao Co., Ltd., , other relevant departments from the province, Japanese entrepreneurs who are operating a business in PJSEZ and southern Laos.
The factory has been operating since January 2021, but due to the spread of Covid-19, the opening ceremony has been postponed and was held this time.
During the ceremony, Mr. Som Bouttakhoun, the vice Governor of Champasak Province and, H.E. Kobayashi Kenichi, Japan Ambassador in the Lao PDR has given a congratulatory address.
Then Mr. Mitsui, President of Tsuge Lao Co., Ltd. has made a speech.
He is very pleased and proud to work with the Laotian employees those who are hardworking and diligent since 2019. Tsuge Lao would further be a part and participation for the development of Laos economy as well as the Champasak Provincial to be sustainable growth in the future.
Finally, the ribbon was cut by the Mr. Mitsui and other VIP guests for opening the ceremony officially.
