On Saturday, October 24, 2020, His Excellency Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoullaos visited the “Pakse-Japan SME Special Economic Zone”.

There are 14 Japanese companies operating in the Pakse- Japan SME SEZ (PJSEZ), about 900 Laotian and 17 foreign engineers, and each company mainly manufactures and exports industrial products and sewn products at PJSEZ. In the period of COVID-19 outbreak from February this year, each Japanese company cooperate with the Lao government, strictly implement prevention measures and continue to operate.
