Inspection and Seminar of Fire Prevention Facilities in PJSEZ

From July 22–23, 2025, the Fire Prevention and Control Police Department of Champasak Province, in collaboration with the Special Economic Zone Authority, conducted comprehensive inspections of fire prevention systems and related safety facilities at factories, warehouse and office and other facilities under PJSEZ.
Fire safety inspections are conducted regularly at this time every year, but this year’s inspection were conducted at 13 Japanese factories, focusing on equipment such as fire alarms, extinguishers (to verify functionality), and emergency exits.
All Japanese companies passed the inspection, but some received specific advice from the inspectors on the inspection, such as increasing the number of fire extinguishers, installing them in appropriate locations, and replacing old equipment.
On July 24, 2025, a fire prevention and control seminar was held at the PJSEZ conference room. Selected employees from each Japanese company participated in hands-on training on the proper use of fire extinguishers and other essential fire safety equipment.
The seminar aimed to strengthen fire safety awareness, protect company assets, and ensure smooth and uninterrupted business operations.
At the end of the seminars, the Fire Prevention and Control Police Department issued official certificates of inspection and seminar completion to all Japanese companies in PJSEZ as proof of their compliance and participation.
