On May 14, 2016, the ground-breaking ceremony was held prior to the construction work of an access road of length 860 m from Route 13 and initial land formation work(by Lao Nishimatsu Construction Co., Ltd.) for sales area (2.5 ha) in the first phase development (56 ha) of Pakse-Japan SME SEZ.
