President of the Champasak Provincial Administrative Committee Visits LGH

On 11 May 2026, Dr. Souksavanh Vilayvong, President of the Champasak Provincial Administrative Committee, together with representatives of the Champasak Provincial Investment Promotion and Management Committee (CIPMC) and relevant provincial departments visited Lao Green Hydrogen Co., Ltd. (LGH) located in the Pakse-Japan SME SEZ (PJSEZ).
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Mr. Ryutaro Nishio, President of LGH and Mr. Mochizuki, Managing Director of PJSEZ. Mr. Nishio provided a brief introduction to the project and presented the current progress of the plant construction at the PJSEZ Conference Room.
Following the meeting, the delegation toured the LGH pilot factory, a hydrogen-roasted coffee project currently operating in Rental Factory of PJSEZ. During the visit, the delegations observed the coffee roasting process using hydrogen energy.
Afterward, the delegation visited the construction site of the new LGH plant to inspect the progress of the project from the initial stage up to the present. During the visit, Dr. Souksavanh inquired in detail about the hydrogen production capacity and the expected annual coffee roasting volume etc. He expressed strong interest in the project and emphasized his intention to support and promote it nationwide, noting that Champasak Province has strong agricultural potential which is well known for coffee cultivation.
He also stated that the provincial authorities are ready to support the project, should LGH encounter any issues related to construction or other matters. He further expressed his hope that the construction would be completed according to the schedule of LGH, so that LGH can begin full-scale operations successfully from middle 2027.
