A Public-Private Joint Dialogue was held between the Pakse branch of JCCIL and Champasak Province.

The first Public-Private Joint Dialogue was held between the Pakse branch of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Laos (JCCIL) and Champasak Province.

The agenda was “Trade / Logistics” and “One-stop service”, and the dialogue proceeded with questions and requests from Japanese companies and answers from the department in charge of Champasak Province.

Some solutions have been seen through the dialogue, and it is expected that the business environment of Japanese companies in Champasak Province will be further improved in the future.

The dialogue was co-chaired by Ambassador Mr. Kobayashi from the Japanese side and Governor Dr. Vilayvong from the Champasak Province side.

This joint public-private dialogue was realized with the cooperation of the Embassy of Japan in Laos, JCCIL, JETRO, JICA and Champasak Province.
